Trevor came along as guitarist, and after a couple of drummer swaps, we ended up with Richard hitting the circles. Dave

Bass Guitar

David 'Dave' Rupert George Evadne Aloysius Cyril Hamish Brooks was once the crown prince of Suburbia before abdicating for the love of a goldfish called Errol.

Trevor

Lead Guitar

Trevor (a.k.a. The Smokin' Grill Guy) is the driving force behind the Trevinitone amplifiers we use on stage, so he knows a bit about tone. Here are some interesting facts you may not know about Trevor - we call it Trevor Trivia:

Richard

Drums

Always the philanthropist, Richard donated most of his hair to the poor in 1987. He kept a small amount of it for himself but refuses to say where.

Daniel

Vocals/Guitar

Born in a pond just south of Letchworth, Daniel worked his way up the ranks of the cat-herding fraternity before finding fame in a film about shoes. Enjoys glacé cherries and ironing.

What are we playing?

Although we started out as just a blues band, we play more than just blues - we've got some great pop and rock tunes from across the ages, as well as some original tracks. There's a few songs about roads, one about the perils of songwriting, and another about cheese.

As an idea of what to expect, here are some of the artists whose songs we play: Bluesbreakers, Elvis (Presley and Costello), Little Richard, Ray Charles, Tom Petty, ELO, Travelling Wilburys, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, BB King, The Zombies, The Faces, Spencer Davis...

Our original songs are available to stream or download on all the usual music providers - YouTube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer and probably loads more.

Just search Hot Cold Ground wherever you get your tunes.
